In a small government school tucked away in Bengaluru’s Malleswaram, five teenagers are proving that innovation doesn’t need fancy classrooms or private-school budgets. They’ve been chosen to represent India at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025, a global robotics competition often called the Olympics of Robotics.

These students — Ningaraj (Class 11), Parashuram M (Class 11), Arjun K Raj (Class 11), Gourish K (Class 10), and GN Chandan Raj (Class 9) — come from modest Bengaluru homes, with parents working as housekeepers, garment workers, and technicians.

But nothing can stop them from dreaming big and learning fast.
