University 49, Preston 13 — The Hawks (7-2) tuned up for next week’s MoHawk Bowl with a win in Kingwood. Harrison Helbig passed for 320 yards and four touchdowns. Marcos Kniska rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns.
Spring Valley 29, Woodrow Wilson 28 — In a back-and-forth contest, the Timberwolves relinquished a 21-7 lead before rallying past the Flying Eagles. Spring Valley (6-3) scored the game-winning touchdown and two-point conversion with 44 seconds left. AJ Thomas rushed for two touchdowns for Beckley (4-4).
