YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)- Some local singers are showing off their vocals and ready to show off with a performance sure to hit a high note.

The best singers from Mahoning, Trumbull, and Ashtabula counties are performing with the honors choir.

The Ohio Music Education Association puts on the annual event, which includes over 100 high school singers and 145 middle school performers. The students have talent, love to sing, and get a chance to perform songs that they might not get to at their home school.

They're already practicing for a performance they'll never forget.

"It's something that we love to put together to give these students the opportunity to make music with a group of students that they'll never see again. It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance for them," Said Middle School Coordin
