GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Two people were severely injured and had to be rescued from the cars involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Glastonbury Friday evening.
Police were called to the 3000 block of Hebron Avenue (Route 94) just before 9 p.m. for a report of a three-vehicle crash.
Police, EMS and fire crews responded to the scene. Glastonbury firefighters extricated two occupants, who were taken to area hospitals with serious and life-threatening injuries, police said.
It is not clear at this time how many people were involved in the crash and if any other occupants are suffering any injuries.
