Srinagar, , KNT: A three-storied residential house was gutted in a fire incident that broke out on Friday in Faizabad Colony of Naikbagh Nowgam area on the outskirts of Srinagar. The blaze caused extensive damage to the property before it was brought under control by fire and emergency services.

Officials from the Fire and Emergency Services Department told the news agency Kashmir News Trus t that soon after receiving the distress call, fire tenders from multiple stations, including Nowgam, Rawalpora, and Gowkadal, were dispatched to the spot. The teams worked for several hours to contain the flames and successfully prevented the fire from spreading to adjoining houses in the densely populated area.
