Tom Aspinall will put an end to a year of frustration as he defends his UFC heavyweight world title at UFC 321.
Aspinall was named interim champion nearly two years ago and believed he had arranged a match with Jon Jones. However, the American chose to fight Stipe Miocic instead, leaving Aspinall in limbo while he decided on his future.
Jones eventually retired - albeit temporarily - resulting in Aspinall being declared champion by default.
The Brit is tipped to defeat Gane, who has only been beaten by Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones in his MMA career. This marks his third attempt at the title and could potentially be his last chance.
