Chapel Hill, N.C. — North Carolina, for the second straight game, came oh-so-close to earning its first ACC victory under head coach Bill Belichick.
He was in no mood to talk about it after the game.
The Tar Heels fell 17-16 in overtime to No. 16 Virginia on Saturday at Kenan Stadium when its attempt for a game-winning two-point conversion ended with running back Benjamin Hall coming up just short of the goal line.
Belichick: We came up a little bit short today
"Trying to win the game," Belichick said of his rationale for going for two, echoing the most famous gruff podium sessions with the New England Patriots. "Just trying to win the game. Don't know what else you want me to tell you."
