Cyclone Montha Update : Andhra Pradesh's coastal areas will have to brace for heavy to very heavy rainfall for next week from October 27, as a cyclone forming in the Bay of Bengal is approaching its coast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) confirmed.

Cyclone Montha : Who has named Cyclone Montha? According to IMD, the cyclonic storm will be identified as Cyclone Montha, named by Thailand. This will be the second cyclone to develop in October this year, after Cyclone Shakthi which had developed off the Gujarat coast in the Arabian Sea.
