EVERETT, Mass. —

A special ceremony took place Saturday afternoon at Everett High School's Veterans Memorial Stadium.

City and school officials dedicated the stadium to former longtime coach John DiBiaso Jr.

"Coach DiBiaso’s legacy is woven into the fabric of Everett athletics," a city spokesperson said. "His decades of leadership brought countless championships and inspired generations of student-athletes through discipline, teamwork, and heart. The field dedication honors not just his wins, but his profound impact on the Everett community."

DiBiaso Jr. coached the Crimson Tide to 12 Massachusetts Super Bowl titles. He holds the state record for most Super Bowl wins for a coach (17) and currently ranks second all-time in wins among high school football coaches in Massachusetts.
