HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) -- Two suspects, including a 14-year-old boy, have been arrested in connection to a robbery that occurred Friday in Hoover.

According to the Hoover Police Department, officers were dispatched at about 12:54 p.m. Friday to the area of Crowne Woods Drive after a person reported being robbed by people who fled into a nearby apartment. Officers took two suspects into custody without incident. The suspects were identified as the 14-year-old juvenile from Birmingham and Ray Anthony Bell, 19, of Hoover.

The 14-year-old was transferred to the Jefferson County Youth Detention Center and charged as a juvenile with first-degree robbery. He was also charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol.
