Iowa football offensive lineman Beau Stephens was forced to exit during the first quarter of the Minnesota game with an apparent leg injury.
Following a play deep in Golden Gophers territory, Stephens was seen on the broadcast hopping off the field on one leg.
Here's what we know.
Beau Stephens injury update
Stephens exited the game with an apparent left ankle injury about halfway through the first quarter. The offensive lineman seemed to get rolled up on during a tackle.
He went straight to the medical tent and was replaced by Leighton Jones at left guard. Iowa 's drive stalled deep in the red zone following Stephens' injury and the Hawkeyes settled for a short field goal to take a 10-0 lead.
Stephens returned to the game on Iowa's next offensive drive, but exited again shortly
