LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) -- Lorain police have determined that the gunshot that fatally struck a Lorain City Schools student in the head last week at Lakeview Park had been accidentally fired by the student's child relative.
But investigators now believe the gun found at the scene that day wasn't the one that killed him, according to a Friday update from Lorain police.
Officers called to a shooting at the park along West Erie Avenue at about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, found Isaac Brocco-Rivera unresponsive, with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
