FLORENCE, Ky. —

Police say that a car crashed into a store in Florence on Saturday.

The crash happened at A Cottage Collection on U.S. Highway 42 just after 4 p.m. Advertisement

Damage was reported to the small business, which sells outdoor patio furniture in its front lot.

The car, a white Nissan SUV, crashed through the store's exterior fence and came to a rest outside the store's main building.

Neither the driver nor the passenger reported injuries in the crash.

Florence police say that a medical emergency caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Because of this, police say that no criminal charges are expected to come from the incident.
