WAIMALU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The suspects in an alleged robbery at the Pearlridge Shopping Center have been charged.

On Tuesday, at around 6 p.m., the Honolulu Police Department responded to the shopping center parking lot near Macy’s for a reported robbery.

According to police, two 18-year-old men were sitting in a parked vehicle when two unknown men approached. One suspect allegedly brandished a handgun while the other allegedly displayed a knife and demanded the victims’ belongings.

HPD said the suspects searched through the victims’ vehicle, took their personal property, and fled in a white Lexus.

Police later found the vehicle nearby, and the suspects fled on foot. The vehicle was recovered as evidence.
