Our next weather maker will arrive tomorrow, bringing widespread rain and a few embedded thunderstorms.
Sunday will be best spent inside. Rain will begin in the Shoals in the early morning hours, and expected to stay on the west side of I-65 until lunch time. By the afternoon, rain is expected to move through the Huntsville Metro and into Sand Mountain by dinnertime. Another round is expected during the overnight hours and early Monday morning. Highs will stay around 60.
Monday will feature scattered showers in the morning, and trending drier by the afternoon, although a rouge shower or two isn't out of the question. Highs will be in the low 70s.
