MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — A man is dead and two others are hurt after a crash in Mecosta County early Saturday morning.
According to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), around 3:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of 8 Mile and 140th for a crash.
A vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old Morley man, ran off the road and crashed into a tree.
Deputies said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Both passengers in the vehicle were hurt in the crash.
A 17-year-old boy from Morley was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 16-year-old boy from Big Rapids was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
