BROOK PARK, Ohio – A Cleveland man, 68, was arrested Oct. 11 after he choked a North Ridgeville man and tried to stab him with a knife at Saharid Social Center, 15325 Brookpark Road.
The victim, who was 64 at the time, arrived at Saharid at about 5:30 p.m. He parked his Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the parking lot. The Cleveland man was sitting at a picnic table on the property.
As the victim climbed off his motorcycle, he and the Cleveland man exchanged harsh comments regarding a sticker on the motorcycle. The victim then walked into the club.
About five minutes later, the Cleveland man walked into the social center. He walked toward the victim, who was sitting in a chair, and started choking him.
