Arrest warrant served, theft, drug possession: Brookpark Road

A Brooklyn man, 42, and a Cleveland man, 44, were arrested at about 6:30 a.m. Oct. 14 after they were caught stealing heaters from a Dumpster outside Fridrich Moving & Storage, 14800 Brookpark.

Someone called police about the men. When police arrived, the men were driving away in a Chevrolet Malibu. Police stopped the car and the men admitted they were looking through Fridrich’s Dumpster.

Police learned that the Cleveland man was wanted criminally. In his clothes, police found bags of what they believed was heroin and amphetamine, two syringes and a rubber tourniquet.

Also, the driver’s license of the Cleveland man, who was driving the Malibu, had been suspended.
