CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - A man is in the hospital following a shooting in Carson City.

It happened just before 2 p.m. at a home on Star Way.

It started when two men were involved in an argument at a gas station on U.S. 50 near the I-580 intersection, and that led to one driver chasing the other to the Star Way home. The shooting took place inside the doorway of the home, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office says.

Two separate crashes are believed to be associated with this shooting. One crash was reported as a hit and run on Biltmore Street, and the other took place at the Star Way address. No injuries were reported in either crash.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene at 2:01 p.m. and the occupants of the residence surrendered themselves.
