No. 20 LSU began to lose control of its home matchup to No. 3 Texas A&M in the third quarter on Saturday night.

As the Aggies' lead grew to 35-18 with just under 4 minutes to go in the third quarter, the ABC broadcast crew began calling out the obvious atmosphere shift in Baton Rouge.

"The stands are emptying here," ABC color commentator Herbstreit said. "It's strange."

Play-by-play announcer Chris Fowler eventually chimed in on the LSU fans, too.

"They're booing, and there's also some chanting in here, as well," Fowler said.

A&M's KC Concepcion then returned a Tiger 47-yard punt for 39 yards.

"That increased the volume level of these boos," Fowler said after the return immediately brought the Aggies deep in LSU territory.
