INDIANAPOLIS — Officials say no one was injured after a driver crashed their car into an apartment building on the north side of Indianapolis on Saturday.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department , around 1:05 p.m. on Oct. 25, firefighters were called to the 2000 block of Amerherst Drive , which is an apartment complex near West 71st Street and Harcourt Road, on a report that a vehicle had crashed into an apartment building.
When first responders arrived, they say the apartment's occupant was not home at the time. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was checked out by medics at the scene.
According to evidence at the scene and witness testimony, the investigation showed that the car traveled at least 500 yards from its origin to impact. Officials say the vehicle originated from a
