AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The West Plains Lady Wolves swept the Canyon Lady Eagles to clinch a share of the District 4-4A title alongside Randall.

Canyon got the win in the first meeting between the two teams earlier in the season in five sets.

Despite getting the sweep today, the Lady Eagles didn’t go down without a fight (25-21, 25-17, 25-21).

Aaniyah Kitchen led the Lady Wolves in kills (13) and blocks (3), Bella Wineberg led in assists (19), and Idaly Sotelo led in digs (14).

They end their regular season with a 30-11 overall record, and will face Seminole in the bi-district round Thursday, Oct. 30.
