One person is dead and six others were hurt during a shooting at Lincoln University, according to the Chester County District Attorney.

One person is in custody, the DA said.

In a post on Facebook, the DA said the office is aware of the incident, law enforcement is currently on scene and an investigation is underway.

Pedestrians should avoid the area, according to the DA.

The university is currently celebrating homecoming, according to NBC10.
