“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it: for the time is near,” Revelation 1:3.

The book of Revelation promises a blessing to individuals who read the Bible, which should be an incentive for those of us who love the Lord. We are admonished “to read and to hear” (observation) because the Lord wants us to “keep those things which are written” (obedience).
