DRUGS
3500 BLOCK CRESTLINE CIRCLE: A 32-year-old man was arrested for drug use after police revived him early Thursday morning. At 2:15 a.m., a 32-year-old woman called 911 and said her boyfriend, 32, was unresponsive. Officers arrived and conducted lifesaving measures and he regained consciousness, said Police Deputy Chief Brent Wasson. A syringe with trace amounts of fentanyl was found on the man. A search warrant for the home was obtained, and police found a third of a gram of fentanyl, a quarter-gram of meth and drug paraphernalia. There also was a child living in the home. The man, Layne Floyd, was treated at the hospital, then taken to jail for possession and use of a controlled substance, drug-endangered child and defrauding a drug test.
