On Friday night, the Toronto Blue Jays looked like they might be the best they’ve ever been in their entire franchise history.

On Saturday night, the Blue Jays might’ve found their kryptonite.

In Game 2 of the 2025 World Series, the Blue Jays ran into Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who pitched a complete-game, four-hit performance to beat Toronto 5-1.

While Toronto left four runners on base, the 27-year-old All-Star talent seemingly had answers for everything the Jays were sending his way.

Meeting the media postgame, Toronto manager John Schneider didn’t have too many answers for his team’s tough offensive night, but did give his flowers to the opposing pitcher.
