BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry questioned LSU’s plan to raise football ticket prices after the Tigers’ 49-25 loss to No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium.

“I think @LSUsports and the LSU Board of Supervisors needs to rethink their actions to raise ticket prices for next year after tonight’s showing!” Landry posted on X late Saturday.

LSU led 18-14 at halftime, but the Aggies scored 35 unanswered after the break.

The victory was Texas A&M’s first in Baton Rouge since 1994 and snapped a streak of eight straight wins by the home team in the series. The Aggies improved to 7-0, their best start since 1992.

Landry’s post follows action Friday by the LSU Board of Supervisors approving season-ticket and parking increases for the 2026 season.
