Like many of you, I lament the disintegration of our society. And by disintegration, I mean exactly what the word itself means.

Our nation’s ideal is that out of many we would be one – e pluribus unum. That seminal phrase describes integration, but more and more we are experiencing e unum pluribus. We are disintegrating by way of sound bite and scroll, post and pundit.
