A Coventry butchers is closing its second branch as part of a "strategic decision" to secure the future of its main shop and expand its online operation. Bosworths Butchers in Cheylesmore is a much loved independent, known for its high quality and outstanding pork and stuffing batches.

A second store opened in Balsall Common back in 2018 saw a business expansion taking the Bosworths name to the fringes of the city. But seven years on, the decision has been taken to scale operations back again, allowing management to "consolidate" the original shop while also growing its online offering.

The company shared the news on social media recently, telling customers the shop in Balsall Common will be taken over by a new butcher.
