Detectives have issued an urgent appeal in the hunt for two serial attackers in Nuneaton . Some of Warwickshire Police's most senior investigating officers have been working round-the-clock following the two frightening incidents in Arley.
They say they believe the same two men, both said to be Eastern European, are behind the two incidents which took place last week. In both incidents, the victims had what police have said were 'sharp objects' held to their necks.
In the first, in Ansley Village Rec, the lone woman had something held something to her neck, police said: "It may have been a knife, we cannot be sure at this time – but it left a mark. He was interrupted when the woman’s dog ran over and he fled."
