Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate India Maritime Week 2025 at the NESCO exhibition centre at Goregaon in Mumbai Monday, October 27.
Shah will also deliver a keynote address at the landmark five-day event, which will run until October 31, as India emerges as a global maritime leader. He will arrive in Mumbai late Sunday night, and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will receive him.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) in collaboration with the Indian Ports Association (IPA). It aims to strengthen and showcase the country’s maritime power.
