The North Carolina Spot Festival is returning for another year.
Set for Nov. 1-2 in 2025, the festival is taking place at its longtime location,14221 U.S. 17 in Hampstead.
Festival-goers will celebrate -- and eat -- the spot fish while enjoying live music and local vendors. The festival dates back to the early '60s.
The spot, known as the "spot fish" or "Norfolk spot," are abundant in the state and are one of the most popular saltwater fish of the mid-Atlantic.
The two-day event has a packed schedule of bands and performances. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2.
