LACKAWANNA, N.Y. — A fiery crash involving two tractor-trailers shut down the 90 eastbound in Lackawanna early Sunday morning.

The crash occurred just before 3:26 a.m. near the Lackawanna Toll Gantry.

One tractor-trailer was seen engulfed in flames, ahead of a second tractor-trailer that appeared to have rear-end damage. It is unclear at this time what caused the crash.

NITTEC reported that all lanes were closed as of 3:33 a.m.

A New York State Police Sergeant told 2 On Your Side that one driver suffered minor injuries.

Scranton Volunteer Fire Company out of Hamburg was on scene to extinguish the fire. The flames had burned through the entire rear of the trailer, leaving behind nothing but a stick frame.
