The National Weather Service issued a report at 6:40 a.m. on Sunday for dense fog until 10 a.m. for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.
"Webcams and satellite imagery continue to indicate areas of fog across the Southern Tier, especially in the valleys, including portions of Interstate 86 and Route 219. Some of this fog is locally dense in spots, with visibilities down to a quarter of a mile or less at times. If you will be traveling this morning, be sure to slow down and be prepared for rapid changes in visibility. The fog is expected to dissipate by 10 a.m.," describes the weather service.
