Four guitar virtuosos will bring their strings to life when Vancouver Island plays host to International Guitar Night on four separate dates in the New Year.

This year’s lineup features Itamar Erez, Jocelyn Gould, Jami Dupuis, and Caroline Planté, each representing distinct traditions, techniques and influences in contemporary guitar performance.

Erez is an internationally acclaimed guitarist and composer whose music fuses Middle Eastern delicacy, jazz improvisation, and other world music influences. A recipient of both the 2014 ACUM Prize for Special Achievement in Jazz and the Landau Prize, Erez has performed at international venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Barbican in London, and the Sydney Opera House.
