Savannah Christian's Blaise Thomas has quietly been putting together a senior season to remember as the quarterback has excelled in the passing game, while adding another dimension to the Raider offense with his running ability.

On Friday, Oct. 24, his versatile game was on full display at Pooler Stadium as the host Raiders dominated Swainsboro 45-13 in a pivotal Region 3A Division I matchup.

Thomas was 14-for-18 passing for 262 yards and two touchdowns, while running for 128 yards on 14 carries — including a memorable 55-yard scoring run down the left sideline midway through the third quarter. He has thrown for 1,677 yards with 17 touchdown passes, while rushing for 711 yards and seven more scores for the Raiders, who improved to 6-3 overall and 3-0 in region play with the win.
