The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 5:50 a.m. on Sunday valid from 8 a.m. until Monday 8 a.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
The weather service states, "Snow expected Above 4500 feet. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches."
"Travel along I-84 and other roadways could be difficult due to periods of moderate to heavy snow," comments the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling."
