A winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:40 p.m. in effect until 5 p.m. for South Central Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.

The weather service says to anticipate, “Snow above 4500 feet in the Southern Oregon Cascades. Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Most accumulation will occur above 5500 feet.”

“Plan on slippery road conditions and delays in your commute,” says the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
