Toledo City Council is in a period of uncertainty, but voters will have a chance to weigh in on who represents them on Election Day.

Early voting is already under way, and six at-large seats are on the ballot in Toledo. Five incumbents are running for re-election, while six others are hoping to unseat them.

At-large council members represent the entire city and make up half of the 12-member council. The top vote getters on Nov. 4 will be sworn into office on the first business day in January, according to the city’s charter.

The Blade sat down with each candidate on the ballot, giving them an opportunity to share their campaign. Answers may be condensed for space limitations.
