CHARLOTTE - The Buffalo Bills are now just past the one-third mark in their schedule, and while a 4-2 record certainly isn’t bad, it’s not even good enough to lead the AFC East.

The Bills are trailing the surprising Patriots, thanks in large part to the Oct. 5 home loss they suffered to New England and now they are in chase mode as they come off their much-needed bye week to take on the surging Carolina Panthers Sunday afternoon.

For a team that was considered the favorite to win the Super Bowl during a 4-0 start, two straight losses have the Bills on their heels , and suddenly there are weaknesses on the roster that have gotten exposed, mainly in the wide receiver corps and in the secondary.
