When it comes to protecting federal property in states, the Trump administration wants to send in troops under federal command, (“ Follow the flurry of court action in National Guard deployment to Portland: a timeline, ” Oct. 8). When it comes to protecting women’s rights to their bodies, it is content to leave that to the states, (“ Trump administration rescinds emergency abortion requirement for hospitals, ” June 4).
