CHERAW, S.C. — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting outside a South Carolina bar earlier in the month.

The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office said 31-year-old Shereef Dont'a Malachi of Cheraw was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection with a shooting that happened in the parking lot of the Sandtrap Bar & Grill in Cheraw on Oct. 18.

The sheriff's office added that it has identified other suspects, and more charges are likely as additional evidence is uncovered and interviews continue.
