Happy Chhath Puja 2025 Wishes Images, Quotes, Status, Messages, Photos: Chhath Puja , the most beloved festival in Bihar and Eastern UP, is finally here. Also known as Surya Shashti, the festival is celebrated on the sixth day of the Hindu month of Kartik. During the four days of Chhath Puja, devotees worship the Sun God and Chhathi Maiyaa and offer evening and morning Arghya on the last two and most important days of the festival. This year, the festivities began on Saturday, October 25 with ‘Nahay Khay’ and will conclude on Monday, October 28 with ‘Usha Arghya’. The second day of Chhath is called ‘Kharna’ (Sunday, October 26) when the prasad of Rasiya and roti is prepared post which the 36-hour fast without food and water begins.
