LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird issued a statement on Saturday regarding recent incidents of domestic violence in Lincoln.

In the statement, Gaylor Baird encouraged the community to work together to prevent violence and to protect one another.

The mayor also provided information on various information on resources for those suffering from domestic violence, including the Voices of Hope telephone hotline at 402-475-7273 and the Friendship Home crisis line at 402-437-9302.
