Have you heard the new Lily Allen album ? It’s a question that possibly hasn’t been asked so often or with such fervour since the noughties, but one that is suddenly lighting up group chats all over the country.

If you haven’t heard it, here’s the lowdown: Lily Allen, the patron saint of women who drink wine and have feelings (I know this because I’m a founding member of that club), has written an album, West End Girl . It’s being colloquially called the British/white woman’s Lemonade , in reference to Beyoncé’s 2016 album.
