PHILADELPHIA - Cam Skattebo suffered a brutal leg injury while attempting to catch a pass, dealing the sensational rookie running back and the New York Giants a devastating blow in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles .

Skattebo's lower right leg appeared to get caught under his body and immediately players on both teams called for the medical staff. Giants players turned their backs in noticeable discomfort, unable to look at Skattebo, who was tended to before leaving with an air splint on his lower leg.
