The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating after shots were fired at a residence overnight.

Officers were called to a residence on 124th Street near 78th Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. When they arrived, they found gunshot damage on the outside of the home, the SPS says.

“Officers will be on scene throughout the day to examine the area for physical and digital evidence,” police said.

“At this early stage, the motive for the shots fired remains under investigation, and investigators will be liaising with police partners to determine if there are any links to other files.”
