PHILADELPHIA — Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffered a horrific injury to his right ankle with 8:07 remaining in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Eagles .
Jaxson Dart targeted Skattebo with a pass over the middle. Eagles linebacker Zach Baun broke up the pass, and Skattebo’s right foot and ankle got caught awkwardly under his body as he and Baun went to the ground.
Players from both the Giants and Eagles turned away in disgust when they saw Skattebo’s right foot pointed the wrong way.
Dart screamed in frustration because it was obvious immediately how badly his partner in crime had been injured.
