A desperate search is underway for a missing woman who may have travelled from Newbury to Cheltenham yesterday. Joanne, 81, was last seen in Newbury town at around 7.30am on Saturday (October 25), according to Thames Valley Police.

She is described as being 4ft 11in, of slim build and was last seen wearing a grey cardigan and white trousers and carrying two bags for life and a black backpack.

Sharing the appeal this evening, a spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary, said: "Have you seen missing Joanne? Our colleagues in Thames Valley believe she may have travelled to Cheltenham.

"If you've seen her or have any information on her whereabouts, please contact them using the details below."
