PHILADELPHIA — Saquon Barkley has suffered an injury.
Barkley sustained a groin injury and was ruled questionable to return to the Eagles ’ game against the Giants on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
Barkley picked up the injury in the third quarter, pulling up with a limp after a 28-yard run. Barkley came off the field, spoke to the training staff and went to the medical tent.
Barkley emerged right as backup running back Tank Bigsby ripped off a long run. Barkley jumped up and down in celebration and returned to the sideline with his helmet in-hand.
Barkley was having his best game of the season, rushing for 150 yards on 14 carries. Barkley broke a 65-yard touchdown run on the second snap of the game. He also added 24 receiving yards on four catches, including a nine-yard touchd
